Eligibility Criteria: 

  • B.E / B.Tech  in any discipline (CSE/ECE/IT/EEE/TELECOM/EI).
  • M.Sc graduates in Computer Science & Information Technology can apply.
  • The graduation should be a Full-Time course recognized by the Central/State government of India. (No Part-Time/Correspondence course).
  • The individual must have minimum of 60% in 10th and 12th grade, Diploma and B.Tech.
  • A maximum of 2 year educational gap (after 12th) is permissible in the entire education.
  • No active backlogs are permissible at the time of appearing for Infosys selection process.

Eligibility Criteria may change sometimes depending on the college or drive venue.

There is no negative marking for the above mentioned online test while sectional cutoffs are considered.

Capgemini Recruitment Process 2019 consists of 3 rounds. Capgemini conducts its online test via Cocubes platform. The latest rounds in Capgemini recruitment process this year are given below.

1.Online Test

The online test consists of the following sections :

a. Quantitative Aptitude & Logical Section

For Online Aptitude Test consists of 32 MCQs (16 Quant + 16 Reasoning) equally split between Quant and Logical Reasoning. Time allotted is 50 minutes. There are no sectional time limits but you need to make sure that you are clearing the sectional cutoffs. There is no negative marking scheme.

  • Data Interpretation
  • Time, Speed and Distance

  • Progressions

Logical Reasoning Important Topics:

  • Questions on Visual Reasoning
  • Statements and Conclusions
  • Data sufficiency
  • Blood relations
  • Attention to detail
  • Data Interpretation Questions (Pie charts, Bar charts, Line Graphs, etc.,)

 

b. Essay Writing

In this section you will be asked to write an essay within a time limit of 30  minutes. A 300 word essay is enough for this section. Parameters to consider for the round are – Spellings, Punctuations, Grammar, Paragraphisation(Divide in 2/3 Para). Thus it is advisable to write in normal English with good grammar and spelling and punctuation. 

You can think about the given topic initially and after understanding the topic, then start writing. You can spend around 20 minutes in writing the essay. Now utilize the last 10 minutes to check your essay. This last check will help you avoid a lot of unnecessary mistakes.

 

c. Pseudo Code Section

This section conssits of 20 multiple choice questions which you need to solve in 20 mins. Out of 20 questions 8-9 questions are mostly based on C Programming. 

Different type of Pseudo code questions are like –

  1. A pseudo code is given and you need to check for errors in that code.
  2. You need to complete the pseudo code to get the desired output.
  3. Also you will be required to write the logic of a program to get the desired output mentioned in the question.
  4. You can choose any language like C, C++, Java, Python etc.

 

2. Technical Interview

Capgemini Interview Questions for Technical Round will be based on subjects of your interest or based on projects you have done. You need to have complete knowledge of all the projects you havewritten in your resume. You will be asked basic questions from C, C++, Pseudo Code, and DBMS.

 

3. HR Interview

In this interivew only communication skills and presentation skills are checked. The questions will be related to your personality, family, education, hobbies, internships, etc. They will also ask questions based on location preference and higher education interest also.
