Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for Cognizant Recruitment Process 2020- 2021:

  • Any individual with Graduates / Post Graduates, BE, B.Tech, MBA, MCA, ME, M.Tech is eligible 
  • Passout year-  2021(Restricted to selective colleges)
  • The individual must have minimum of 60% in both 10th and 12th grade, while must have a score greater than 65%  in B.Tech.
  • Should not have any backlogs at the time of applying for Cognizant Off Campus Drive.
  • The individual must not have any educational gap more than 1 year.
  • The individual must have three to six month of cognizant internship or Cognizant recommended skill certification.

Cognizant Recruitment Process:

The cognizant recruitment process is comprised of 3 rounds: 

ROUND 1: The round 1 includes Aptitude and Code-debugging. The Aptitude comprises of following sections-

  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Logical Reasoning
  • Verbal

  1. Candidates who clear the cut-off and score good marks will proceed towards Round 2 Test (Gen C)
  2. Candidates who clear the cut-off  but fail to score good marks will proceed towards Round 2 Interview (Gen C)

ROUND 2: The round 2 consists of 2 sections which examines the candidates ability and understanding in coding:

  • Programming
  • Problem Solving Data Structures and Algorithms Capabilities


  1. Candidates who successfully clear this round will be eligible for Round 3
  2. Candidates who fail clear this round 2 will directly head toward the Gen C Interview round which will be based on questions on Technical, Cognitive Abilities and Right attitude ( Package -4.5 LPA).

ROUND 3: Gen C Next Interview 

Candidates who successfully clear this round 2 will be eligible for Round 3 Gen C Next Interview which is based on Problem Articulation, Algorithm Capabilities, Programming Concepts, Cognitive Abilities & the Right Attitude.(Package -6.5 LPA)
