Designation: Project Engineer

Compensation: INR 3.50 lacs per annum

Service Agreement: Applicable for 15 months post joining @ INR 75,000 on pro-rata basis

  • Any individual with any Graduates/ Post Graduates, BE, B.Tech, MBA, MCA, ME, M.Tech is eligible to apply.
  • The individual must have a minimum of 60% throughout education.
  • A maximum of 1 year of a gap is permissible in the entire education.
  • Should be from a Full-time Degree course recognized by the Central/State Government of India.

  • All Arrears and backlogs need to be cleared at the time of the selection process.

  • Should have completed all exams/ viva-voice/ training and should not have any pending attendance requirement with the college.

  • Candidates who have participated in any interview process held by Wipro in the last six months are not eligible.

Wipro offers the role of Project Engineer for freshers with a package of 3 to 3.5 LPA.

Every eligible candidate must go through below online assessment, below details appended for your reference.

Online Assessment comprising of 3 sections:

  1. Verbal & Analytical Aptitude Test (30 questions, 45 minutes)
  2. Programming Test (45 minutes)

This test will help us assess the skill set of a candidate to diagnose and identify any bugs in a given code and fix them. The Programming Test will be based on the following types of questions/problems:

  • Syntactical error correction i.e. to correct the syntax of the given code without changing its logic.
  • Logical error correction i.e. to fix all logical errors in the given code.
  • Code reuse i.e. to complete the given code by reusing existing functions/ helper code.

Upon selection in the Online Assessment, candidates will be required to go through Technical Interview followed by HR interview.


Technical Interview :

To ace this round you should be good with your concepts. If you are good with the basic concepts, it will easy for you to clear the round. There is no fixed rule or domain from which questions will be asked so you need to be versed with basics well. To maximize your chances you should be prepared with Data structures and Algorithms, DBMS, Operating System, Networking, OOPs concepts and a programming language of your choice. Students from branches other than CS should prepare basic concepts of their branch.


HR Interview :

This is the final round of the recruitment process. HR will check your communication skills, confidence and body language. There will be basic HR questions like Tell me about yourself ?, Why do you want to join Wipro? etc. You might be asked some puzzles and technical questions depending on your feedback and HR. You can prepare for puzzles from our Puzzles section. The key for this round is being confident about yourself.
