As part of our commitment to fostering talent and innovation, we are seeking a DevOps Intern with a strong foundation in Linux, Git, Python, and Bash scripting. This role is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience and make substantial contributions to our DevOps initiatives.

Position Overview

The DevOps Intern will work closely with our experienced DevOps team to support the development, deployment, and operation of our infrastructure and applications. This position is designed for individuals passionate about technology and eager to apply their knowledge in a real-world setting. The intern will gain practical experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud services, and much more.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and management of Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines, utilizing Git for version control and collaboration.
• Write and maintain Python and Bash scripts to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Support the deployment and management of applications in cloud environments, under the guidance of senior team members.
• Participate in the troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure and deployment issues, providing valuable support to the DevOps team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and contribute to the development of effective DevOps solutions.
• Engage in learning opportunities and training sessions to advance technical skills and knowledge in DevOps practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge in Linux system administration and security practices.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Basic proficiency in Python and Bash scripting, with a keen interest in developing these skills further.
• Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies and methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team setting.
