Job Summary:

Job Role: Manual Test Engineer

Designation: Associate 

 

Job Description:

1. Perform Manual testing activities across product features to ensure high quality and defect-free releases

2. Analyse requirements, test scenarios, and test data aligned with specifications

3. Execute system-level testing for TV, Information Display, and Monitor platforms, etc, ensuring end-to-end validation

4. Conduct certification testing for Broadcast Service Operators (e.g., Tata Play, Airtel) and Content Providers (e.g., Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, etc.)

5. Prepare comprehensive test reports, execution summaries, and quality status updates for stakeholders

6. Identify, log, and track defects using standard tools, ensuring effective defect lifecycle management and timely closure

7. Collaborate with development, certification, and cross-functional teams to analyze issues and drive resolution

8. Ensure adherence to test processes, quality standards, and compliance requirements for certification readiness

9. Continuously learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies to improve quality and efficiency

 

Mandatory Skills:

1. Strong academic foundation with an understanding of software engineering fundamentals

2. Good analytical aptitude with logical reasoning and structured problem-solving skills

3. Basic programming knowledge in Python / Java / any scripting language with awareness of automation practices

4. Fundamental understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and database concepts (SQL basics)

5. Strong attention to detail with focus on quality, defect identification, and precision in execution

6. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly (PPT/Canva proficiency)

7. Proven ability to work collaboratively with a team-oriented mindset and adaptable approach

8. Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and a positive attitude with high learning agility and quick adaptability

9. Exposure to testing certifications/tools (Agile/Scrum, Selenium basics, AWS/Python certifications – optional but advantageous)

10. Knowledge about AI

 

Eligibility Criteria: 

BE/BTech / MCA / MTech 

Streams : (Only) CSE, ECE, EEE, IT, Instrumentation

Pass out Year: 2025 & 2026

Passing Score: 70% and above

Work Location: Bangalore

CTC: 4.1 LPA

Work from the Office ( Bangalore Location) 

 

Selection Process: 

Round 1: MCQ assessment in LGSI premises, Bangalore 

Round 2: Face-to-Face Technical Interview in the LGSI premises, Bangalore 

Round 3: Face-to-Face Managerial Interview in LGSI premises, Bangalore

Important Notes:

All tests will be conducted via an online platform at the LG Premises

Further details on the project and department will be communicated post-selection

No Relocation benefits will be provided.
