Q. Can you tell me something about yourself, your role, and the package details?

I'm Athrva, Mechanical Engineering Graduate, selected at DXC Technology.

Q.  What was the opportunity type - on-campus/off-campus drive?

It was an On-campus drive.

Q.  How did you prepare for the placement Preparation?

I joined Talent Battle Masterclass, which helped with Aptitude and Coding.

Q. How many interview rounds are conducted by DXC?

• Online Assessment Test
• Technical and HR Interview

Q. Can you provide details about the nature of the Online AMCAT Assessment?

It consists of the following sections.

• Aptitude, Reasoning, and Verbal – 45 mins
• Essay Writing - 20 mins
• Coding MCQs – 35 mins

Q. What kinds of questions were asked in Aptitude Assessment?

In the Aptitude test, the candidates' questions are based on Quantitative, verbal abilities, and technical questions.

?  Quantitative aptitude: Some of the topics from the questions asked are:

• Quadratic Equations
• Ratio and Proportions
• Statistics

Probability

?  Verbal Ability: In this section, English comprehensions grammar, Types of sentences, et

?  Essay Writing – Need to describe the essay in your own words and expect to write about 400 words.

?  MCQ Questions: There were questions on data structures and OOPs Concepts.  

Q. How long does it take to announce the online test results?

It takes about 4-5 days to announce the result. Also, it was communicated that the interview was likely to be scheduled in the next 4-5 days.

Q. How difficult was the online Test?

 It was of medium difficulty.

Q. Technical and HR interview questions conducted separately?

It was a combined interview round.

Q. Do you remember the interview questions asked in the Technical and HR interview?

I was asked a question about my project work. My project was based on Electronics, Mechanical, and IT based concept

• Which programming language known to me
• OOPs Concepts
• Data structure concepts
• Principle of OOP and how these are applicable in real-time application.
• Why do you want to join DXC?
• What is the location preferred
• Which domain do you prefer?
• Salary discussion was done

Q. How long does it take to announce the final results?

I got the final result in a week. The process is faster as compared to the other companies.

Q. What is the duration of the interview round?

It was around 45 mins.

Q. How did you start your Preparation?

I joined the Talent Battle course which helped me to prepare well for the placement preparation.

Q. How long will it take to complete the entire process of recruitment and get the result?

It will be announced within a week after the final interview.

• Calm approach
• Practice the Programming
• Practice Aptitude regularly – Quant, Reasoning, and Verbal sections
• Practice MCQs of OOPs and Data structure
