Q. May I know your basic details, your role, etc?

I'm Rajesh, an Engineering Graduate, selected at LTI as a Graduate Engineer Trainee with a package of 4 LPA.

Q.  Was it an On-campus/off-campus drive?

It was an on-campus pool drive.

Q. How many interview rounds are conducted by LTI?

• Online Cognitive Assessment
• Technical Interview
• HR Interview

 Q. Kindly provide Online Assessment details?

It consists of the following sections and is a Elimination round

• Quantitative Ability
• Verbal Ability
• Logical Reasoning
• Technical MCQs
• Psuedo Code
• Automata Coding

Q. What kinds of questions were asked in Online Assessment?

Quantitative Ability – There were questions related to the following topics. Duration is 10 mins and 10-14 questions are to be solved in 15 mins. 

• Arithmetic
• Algebra
• Geometry
• Percentages
• Profit & Loss
• Speed & Distance
• Time
• Time & Work etc

Verbal Ability / English Test – Duration is 10-12 mins and 12-15 questions are to be solved.

Questions were related to the following topics

• Grammar
• Vocabulary
• Phrases/ Idioms
• Antonyms/ Synonyms
• Error Spotting
• Fill-in-the-Blanks
• Jumbles
• Phrase Replacement
• Sentence Completion
• Comprehension
• Statement Conclusion/Argument

Logical Reasoning - Duration is 15 mins and around 12-15 questions are given to answer.

The question were based on the following topics and the duration is

• Arrangement/ Pattern
• Cause & Effect
• Coding/ Decoding
• Inequalities
• Input/ Output
• Puzzles
• Relations
• Seating Arrangement

Coding Assessment – 1 coding question and a 15-20 Technical MCQs to be answered. Duration is 35 mins. 

Psuedo Code – Duration is 20 mins and 20 questions to be solved. 

Automata Coding - Duration is 35 mins and 2 questions to be solved. 

Q. Duration of the Online Assessment?

The duration of the test is 140 mins for the Online Assessment. 

Q. When announce the online test results?

It takes about about 1 day to announce the result.

Q. How difficult was the Coding Section?

 It was of High difficulty.

Q. What was the next round after the online assessment?

Next is a Level 1 Assessment - Technical Assessment + English Test for the higher package (5 LPA) for those who clear the online assessment.

Q. What was the next round after the Level 1 assessment?

Next is Level 2 Assessment followed by Technical and HR Interview Rounds.  

Q. What if Level 1 assessment not cleared?

They will proceed for Technical and HR Assessment which for the package of 4 LPA Role. 

Q. Technical and HR interview questions conducted separately?

Yes, they were conducted separately.

Q. Do you remember Technical interview questions asked?

• Introduce yourself
• Are you comfortable with how many programming languages?
• Explain DBMS?
• Express your views on AI/ML/DL
• Differentiate a stack and an array.
• Which technology you wish to continue working?

Duration 15-20 mins

Q. Do you remember HR interview questions asked?

Duration 20–30  mins

Some of the questions, I can recollect are as follows:

• Introduction with family background
• Why do you want to join IBM?
• Ready to work in rotational Shifts?
• Are you okay to work anywhere in India?
• Explain your project work?
• What was your role in the project? Etc…

Q. when the final results were announced?

It will be announced within 15 -20 days.

Q. How did you start your Preparation?

Talent Battle Platform was useful for placement preparation. Along with the preparation used to get regular driver updates.

Q. Any suggestions for the Aspirants?

• Your CV will be the major topic of discussion at the interview. Don't include anything on your resume that you are unsure of. It will have a bad impression on the interviewer.
• Usually, technical questions and inquiries about your most recent project will be asked during the interview.
• One needs to be knowledgeable in topics like DBMS, Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, Networking, OOPs Concepts, and a programming language that they believe they are proficient in.
