Q. May I know your basic details, your role, etc?

I'm Rachita, an Engineering Graduate, selected at NTT Data as a Graduate Trainee with a package of 3.6 LPA.

Q.  Was it an On-campus/off-campus drive?

It was an on-campus pool drive.

Q. How many interview rounds are conducted by NTT?

• Online Aptitude Test 
• Group Discussion
• Technical Interview
• HR Interview

 Q. Kindly provide Online Assessment details.

It consists of the following sections.

• Quantitative Aptitude 
• Verbal Ability / English Test
• Logical Reasoning 
• Computer Programming 

Q. What kinds of questions were asked in the Online Aptitude Test?

Quantitative Section: Some of the topics I can recall are

• Algebra
• Surds & Indices
• Logarithms
• Ratio & Proportion
• Probability
• Permutation and Combinations
• Profit and Loss
• Allegations and Mixtures
• Time, Speed, and Distance
• Problems with Trains
• Geometry, Coordinate Geometry
• Clocks & Calendar
• Simple and Compound Interest and a few more and few more

Verbal Ability / English Test – English proficiency is checked – 

Some of the topics on which questions I can recall are:

• Comprehension ordering
• Error Identification
• Sentence Improvement & Construction
• Subject-Verb Agreement
• Tenses & Articles
• Prepositions & Conjunctions and a few more

Logical Reasoning 

Some of the topics I can recall are

• Syllogism
• Statement and Conclusion
• Logical word sequence
• Data sufficiency
• Data Arrangement and a few more

Computer Programming – Some of the questions related to the following topics

• Arrays, Linked Lists, Trees, Graphs
• Stacks, Queues
• Hash Tables
• Iteration, Recursion, Decision
• OOPs-relate questions

Q. Tell Something about the Group Discussion 

I was part of the 3rd group and we were 8 members in the group and were divided into 2 teams talking for and against the topic. The topic given was Work from Home effective or not. I was on the team against the topic. This duration of the GD was 10 to 15 mins. 

 Q. Duration of the Online Assessment?

The duration of the test is 110 mins for the Online Aptitude Test. Quantitative, Logical, and Verbal sections are to be solved in 90-95 mins whereas the Computer programming section was 35 to 40 mins

Q. When will the online test results announce?

It was announced the same day. 

Q. How difficult was the Coding Section?

 It was of Moderate difficulty.

Q. What was the next round after the online aptitude assessment?

Next, is a Group Discussion followed by the Technical & HR INTERVIEW.

Q. Technical and HR interview questions conducted separately?

Yes, they were conducted separately.

Q. Do you remember the Technical interview questions asked?

I was asked the following questions:

• What is an RDBMS?
• What is the full form of STL in C++?
• Data types in Python
• Local variables and global variables in Python
• Differences between C++ and Java
• Most common data-structure operations
• Explain object cloning
• Resume based questions

Duration 30-40 mins

Q. Do you remember the HR interview questions asked?

Duration 15–20  mins

Some of the questions, I can recollect are as follows:

• Introduction with family background
• Strength and Weakness
• Comfortable on night shift and/or Day shift       
• Why NTT Data?
• Location constraints if any

Q. When the final results were announced?

It will be announced within 15 -20 days after the final interview. 

Q. How did you start your Preparation?

Q. Any suggestions for the Aspirants?

• Prepare well on Aptitude
• Focus on Programming Language and DSA
• Know your resume very well 
• Prior Practice of previous years' papers.
