Oracle Interview Experience 2023

Q. Can you tell me something about yourself, and your role details?

I'm Shrinija K, Computer Science Engineering Graduate, selected at Oracle as an Associate Consultant with the package of 8.8 LPA.   

Q.  Was it on-campus/off-campus drive?

It was an on-campus drive.

Q.  Was the Process online/Offline?

The entire process was online.

Q. How many interview rounds are conducted by Oracle?

• Round 1- Online Assessment 
• Round 2 - Technical Interviews 
• Round 3 - HR Interview

 Q. Can you provide details about the nature of the Online Assessment?

It was completely technical in nature. It consists of sections.

Coding Section – 3 Questions

Technical MCQ – 6 Questions

Q. What was the duration of the Online Assessment?

The duration was 105 minutes 

Q. What kinds of questions were asked in Online Assessment?

Coding Q1 – Write the given code in any programming language 

Coding Q2 – It was on Rest API – I could not solve it and my friends solved using Python

Coding Q3 – SQL Query

Technical MCQ 6 Questions were based on Data structure 

Q. How difficult was the online Test?

 It was of medium difficulty.

Q. How long does it take to announce the online test results?

The results were announced on the same in within an hour. Also, I was scheduled for the Technical interview immediately. 

Q. What was the next round after the online assessment?

It was the Technical interview round. 

Q. Technical and HR interview questions conducted separately?

Yes, they were conducted separately. After the Technical Interview final round was conducted and it was combined Technical and HR Interview again. 

 Q. Do you remember the interview questions asked in the Technical interview?

• Self Introduction
• Which programming language am comfortable with 
• SQL Query to remove duplicates in a table – I was comfortable with Python
• Explain Group by & Order by 
• Stored procedure and triggers
• OOPs Concepts – Inheritance & Encsapsulation & How it will be implemented

Q. What was the duration of the Online Assessment?

The duration was around 45 minutes. Approx 15 questions were asked. 

Q. Do you remember the interview questions asked in the Round 3 Technical & HR interview?

• Self Introduction
• What is Lists & Tuples – difference between the two
• Difference between Lists and arrays
• Program to print even numbers from the Array – Required to share the screen to the interviewer for this. Since I was comfortable in Python wrote the program accordingly. But, I was also asked to write the same code using C++ and Java
• Project Based questions – About the project, Role in the project and difficulty faced in the project. How those difficulties were handled. 
• Questions based on Banking – Whether you use UPI /Internet Banking and what process is carried out in the back end. 
• Where do you see yourself in next 5 years. 

Q. What was the duration of the Online Assessment?

Approx 15 questions were asked. The duration was around 45 minutes. 

Q. How long does it take to complete the recruitment process?

The process was over in 2 days. For me the process happened in a single and on the same day. 

Q. How did you start your Preparation?

Talent Battle Masterclass was useful to prepare for the placements. 

Q. Any suggestions for the Aspirants?

• Kindly do not be afraid of the process. If you prepare well it can be cracked easily. 
• Prepare well anyone programming language along with Data structures. – C/CPP and Java
• Prepare well DBMS concepts and SQL
• Usually questions are likely to be on the back end technology. 

Q. When are you going to join?

Currently in final year and hence Internship is offered. Joining is given after the completion of the graduation.
