Wells Fargo Interview Experience

Q. May I know your basic details, your role, etc?

I'm Aditya, an Engineering Graduate, selected at Wells Fargo as a Program Associate.

Q.  Was it an On-campus/off-campus drive?

It was an off-campus pool drive.

Q. How many interview rounds are conducted by Wells Fargo?

• Online AMCAT Assessment – Elimination round
• Technical Interview - Elimination round
• Leadership Round - Elimination round
• HR Interview Round - Elimination round

 Q. Kindly provide Online Assessment details.

It consists of the following sections and is Elimination round. It is conducted on an AMCAT platform. It was for 3 Hours.

• Verbal Ability
• Logical Reasoning
• Coding

Q. What kinds of questions were asked in the Online AMCAT Assessment?

• Verbal Section - MCQs are based on comprehension, vocabulary, and paragraph formation. It was Easy. Time. It is to be solved in 1 hour.
• Logical Reasoning – For analyzing data, graphs, and charts are to be examined carefully to provide answers to specific questions. Calculations and careful observation are both required for this process. It was of medium difficulty. It is to be solved in 1 hour.
• Coding – There were Two coding questions. The first issue included straightforward array manipulation, whereas the second one was based on the Greedy algorithm. It was of medium difficulty.
• Programming MCQs- Duration is 15 mins and has 2 sections. In both sections – Anyone programming language from Java, C, C++, or Python is to be used. The same programming language cannot be used in both sections.

Q. Duration of the Online Assessment?

The duration of the test is 3 Hours for Online Assessment. 

Q. When was the online test result announced?

I got the result after 2 weeks and cleared the online Assessment and qualified for the next interview round.

Q. What was the next round after the online assessment?

Next is a Technical Interview Round.

Q. Technical and HR interview questions conducted separately?

Yes, they were conducted separately. At every stage there is elimination.

I got the communication after 2 days. I cleared the Technical Interview Round 1 and qualified for the next Interview Round

 Q. Any Technical interview Round questions, if you can recall?

• I was interviewed by One of the Senior People of the company. It was an online interview through Google Meet.
• The interviewer introduced himself first, and then he asked me to do the same.
• I was asked to write two SQL queries
• Asked questions about databases.
• Asked to write a program in any language and explain every single line.
• I used Python to write and requested that Java be used as well.
• Questions and examples from the real-time application on object-oriented programming.
• It was easy comparatively.

Duration 25-30 mins

I cleared Technical Interview Round and qualified for the Leadership Interview Round

Q. Can you recall the Leadership interview round questions asked?

• Vice-President of the company conducted interview through Google Meet.
• the interviewer introduced himself first, and then he asked me to do the same.
• He asked me resume-based questions.
• asked me to create the Bookmyshow application and to specify the technology I would use and how to launch it.
• I was asked a few questions about the cloud, such as its benefits, criteria for choosing a cloud provider, and services it offers.
• Asked about career plans for the next 5 years, higher education, preferred locations, etc.

It was about a 20 -30 mins discussion and went well.

Q. Do you remember the HR interview questions asked?

It was a telephonic interview conducted after 1 month. Duration 5–10 mins – It is more of a Formality round if all previous interviews are cleared.

Some of the questions, I can recollect are as follows:

• Introduction and family background
• Why Wells Fargo
• Location preferences if any.
• Ready to work in rotational Shifts?
• Checked if there is any other offer in hand.
• Salary details were discussed
• Any questions?
