About LTI

Larsen & Toubro Infotech (LTI) is a global technology consulting and digital solutions organization that offers exciting career opportunities to young graduates. To prepare effectively for a placement test at LTI, you must first understand the examination structure.

1. Online Aptitude Test

The LTI placement exam starts with an online aptitude test that assesses your analytical and logical thinking skills, numerical aptitude, language competence, and technical knowledge. Typically, the test comprises 60-70 questions that must be completed in 90 minutes.

2. Technical Expert Interview

If you pass the online aptitude test, you will be invited to a technical interview to demonstrate your knowledge of technical areas related to your field. The interview panel might consist of technical professionals, managers, or senior executives. In this round, the candidate's coding skills are typically assessed through two separate interviews. The first section of the interview generally consists of a medium-level coding task from DSA and a tough coding question.

3. Human Resources Interview

If you successfully complete the technical interview, you will be invited to an HR interview to assess your communication skills, personality, attitude, and cultural fit. The interview panel may include HR managers, recruiters, or senior executives.

The LTI placement process consists of three interviews: a technical one, one with a subject matter expert, and one with human resources.

The LTI placement exam is designed to assess your analytical and logical reasoning capabilities, quantitative aptitude, language ability, technical knowledge, communication skills, personality, attitude, and cultural compatibility.

The grading scheme may change from exam to exam, and even from topic to subject. However, most exams do not employ negative marking, so you can answer every question without fear of a point deduction.

Data structures, algorithms, programming languages, database management, web technologies, operating systems, and aptitude tests are all part of the LTI placement exam curriculum

The best way to do well on the LTI placement exam is to study the subject and test pattern in depth, put in plenty of practice time, hone your technical and communication skills, stay abreast of technology advances, and have a level head throughout the process.

Languages like C, C++, Java, and Python as well as DBMSs like SQL, MySQL, and Oracle, and web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery are all part of the LTI placement exam curriculum.
